What do a chess pro
and a coach have in common?

It is the central role of intuition for outstanding performance in both fields of action.

Chess players and coaches are confronted with complex situations in which they have to remain oriented and in which they have to act „now“.

The American social scientist Herbert A. Simon has shown in the case of chess players that their intuitive play became more creative the more games they had played or seen and processed.

In my opinion, the same applies to coaches, therapists and leaders.

Their ability to intuitively do the „right thing“ increases with the number of cases they have been through, be it in their work, through exchange with colleagues or observation of their work, or through reading case reports.

I dream of bringing together experts of different orientations and initiating a collegial exchange based on concrete cases.

The resulting competition of different coaching approaches and methods would undoubtedly update the experience database of the brains of all participants.

This would also be a good buster for informed intuition; because intuition is qualified by experience.

With our project L-I-A-M we want to make this dream come true.
