Geboren 1940 in Schlesien, bin ich in Bad Sobernheim in der Naheregion aufgewachsen.
Seit 1982 lebe ich nach Umwegen über Oldenburg in Oldenburg bis Kapstadt in Süd-Afrika mit meiner Familie in Rhein-Hessen bei Bad Kreuznach.

Gearbeitet habe ich zunächst für's Arbeitsamt im Bereich Diagnostik.
Im Lutherstift in Falkenburg, einer Bildungsstätte, bot ich Erwachsenenbildung und gruppendynamische Kurse an.
In Kapstadt besuchte ich für die Deutsche Seemansmission Menschen an Bord durchreisender Schiffe.

Es schlossen sich 20 Jahre als Psychologe und Berater in einer Beratungsstelle für Familien-, Ehe- und Lebensberatung Erziehungsberatung sowie Sozial- und Schuldnerberatung beim Evangelischen Kirchenkreis An Nahe und Glan in Bad Kreuznach an, davon 17 Jahre als deren Leiter.

Seit meinem Abschied von der Beratungsstelle arbeite ich in eigener Praxis.

Ich habe Erfahrung sowohl als Mitarbeiter als auch Leiter einer Organisation.
Ich habe auch Erfahrung als Partner in einer langjährigen Ehe und mit der Erziehung und dem Heranwachsen unserer Kinder.

Meine Liebe gilt zunächst meiner Frau und meinen Kindern,
danach meiner Arbeit als Psychologe.

My English self

I was bon in 1940 and grew up on the banks of the River Nahe, a tributary to the Rhein.
In 1982 I returned to this region to live with my family near Bad Kreuznach.

In between I have lived in many different places from Oldenburg in Northern Germany to Cape Town in South Africa.

I started my professional life in the field of psychodiagnostics working for the German working exchange "Arbeitsamt", .
In the Lutherstift in Falkenburg, an educational centre for adults, I worked in the field of psychodynamics, conducting workshops. In Cape Town I worked for the German Mission for Seamen, "Deutsche Seemansmission" and saw sailors on board visiting ships. For the next 20 years I was employed as a psychologist and counsellor in a counselling centre for families, couples and single persons dealing with problems relating to couple relation,education, parenting, poverty and debt. I was the director of the centre for 17 years.

Since leaving the centre I now work in a practice of my own.

I love my wife and children and after them
I love my work as psychologist and as relationship counsellor.

Radfahren und Reisen haben mich lange Zeit gesund und fit gehalten.
